To remove the front shock absorber, it is advisable to lift the vehicle on a ramp, but using axle stands will also suffice. Once the vehicle is raised, remove the front wheel, disconnect the speed sensor from its housing on the wheel hub, and detach the cable guide from the shock absorber.

Similarly, disconnect the brake fluid line from the cable guide and proceed to remove the mounting bolts of the shock absorber from the hub. Access the engine bay and remove the plastic protective grille located at the strut tower, then unscrew the nuts securing the shock absorber mount: it is now possible to extract it from its location.
