Remove and Replace Fuel Filter

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Diesel fuel filter

First, remove the engine cover: the fuel filter is located next to the air filter housing.
Disconnect the clamps securing the hoses connected to the filter's inlet and slide the hoses off (be careful to reinstall them in the same position).
Loosen the bolt of the filter's securing clamp and remove the filter, replacing it with a new one; then tighten the clamp.
Before reconnecting the hoses, it is recommended to fill the filter with a manual pump to avoid starting issues.
Reconnect the hoses to the filter with the respective clamps and reposition the engine cover.
