How to remove the EGR valve on a Mercedes C-Class? Lift the hood and secure it, then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, and remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start removing the retaining pins of the EGR valve (as shown in the video). Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws present on it with a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist in the process. Reassemble everything after cleaning.
