How to change the oil and filter on a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to proceed in this video. Lift the hood and secure it. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the oil filter and remove it (install the new part). Raise the car on a column lift or jack; unscrew the bolt from the oil pan, let the fluid drain into a disposal container, and reattach the oil pan bolt. Finally, top off with the new fluid, and check the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until reaching the recommended measurement.
