Mercedes Classe C - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Thermostat
Operation: Removing the thermostat on Mercedes C-Class

Does the machine have thermostat problems? Let's see how to replace it. With a socket wrench we disconnect the cables of the car battery power supply. We lift the car on a column bridge, remove (with a socket wrench and nose pliers) the plastic cover of the engine. We open the tap and let the water run out. We open the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel, remove the sleeve, then disconnect the sealing cap and extract the thermostat from its seat. Once the piece has been removed, replace it with a new one and close the compartment with the cap. We tighten the pins well and we're done. Make sure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing. We top up with the new liquid.
