Replacing the Thermostat on a Mercedes C-Class

Replacing a damaged thermostat on a Mercedes C-Class? Here's how to do it. Open the hood, remove the clamps from the hose as shown in the video. Remove the pump (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets) and take it out. Unscrew the screws from the thermostat cover. Pull out the sealing cap and extract the thermostat from the engine compartment. Once the old part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cap, and tighten the bolts securely with all its parts. Ensure that the thermostat valve is properly inserted and mounted in the appropriate housing. Reinstall the pump and the belt.
