Replacing the Starter Motor on A-Class

Let's look at replacing the starter motor by removing parts in the engine compartment. Open and lift the hood, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Disconnect the battery power cables. Remove the air filter housing along with the attached intake hose, then locate the part to be removed. Disconnect the starter motor power terminals, use a socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts of the starter motor, and take it out of the engine compartment. Install the new starter motor. Start the vehicle and check its operation.
