Coolant Replacement

The following guide shows how to replace the radiator coolant. With the engine cold, the coolant level should be between the maximum and minimum marks. To avoid burns, perform this operation when the engine is not excessively hot. It needs replacing because it loses its properties over time, such as antifreeze and anti-corrosion. For the required quantity, consult the vehicle handbook. Once the engine is off, remove the cap from the expansion tank and let the coolant drain into a container. Once the system is emptied, screw the drain plug back in, open the bleed valve, and pour the coolant into the radiator.
