How to Remove the Fuel Filter Housing

This video shows how to remove the fuel filter housing for replacement or maintenance. The vehicle in question is a Mercedes Sprinter. The part to be replaced is very hidden, so first, remove the air box. You can then proceed to remove the oil filter cap; this will also allow you to take off the engine cover. Now, by lifting its clips, you will need to remove the small cover of the wiring. The next step is to unscrew the bolts that secure the arm and proceed to remove it. After disconnecting the fuel inlet and outlet hoses, you can extract the fuel filter, but not before releasing the two clips that hold it in place. Now you will finally be able to remove the filter housing by unscrewing the bolts that secure it. In this case, the rubber gasket causing fluid leaks is replaced.
