The replacement of the oil and the filter of the automatic transmission is very important to guarantee optimal lubrication and to allow a very gradual engagement of the ratios; you can start by checking the oil level and color by inserting a flexible rod through the special duct in the engine compartment. Raise the car and proceed by draining the oil from the gearbox through the special drain plug; once emptying is completed, unscrew the cup fixing pins to access the filter which is integrated inside the cup itself; remove the old filter and insert the new one, clean the bottom of the cup before installing it, checking the integrity of the gasket; finally, fill the gearbox with the appropriate oil.
