Engine Oil Change and Filter Replacement

It is advisable to perform this operation with a warm engine as the oil is more fluid and drains better and faster. First, lift the car from the driver's side and place a jack stand in accordance with safety regulations. Once the hood is open, remove the oil filler cap. Using the appropriate tool, loosen and remove the oil filter. Take the filter out of its mount. Typically, gaskets are provided with the filter, so it is best to replace them, lubricating them with a bit of oil before reinstalling. Position a container under the car and drain the used oil by loosening the bolt located on the side opposite to the one you lifted, to facilitate the outflow of the oil being replaced. Once all the oil is drained, re-tighten the bolt. Reinsert the filter into its place, tightening it first by hand and then with the appropriate tool without over-tightening. Remove the jack stand and lower the car. Introduce the amount of oil specified by the manufacturer, as indicated in the owner's manual, without exceeding it, since it is always easier to add more than to deal with excess. Re-tighten the oil cap. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Turn it off and wait a few minutes. To check the level, turn the key to the on position and use the buttons on the steering wheel to find the oil level option on the display.
