Disassembling Windshield Wiper Motor

Model: Mercedes Sl MK 5, R129 - Years 1989-2001

The wiper motor assembly is integrated with the wiper arm itself, and to disassemble it, you need to remove all surrounding components. Start by pulling off the gasket along the rear edge, then detach the plastic covers under the windshield. Remove the protective cover located directly above the wiper motor, followed by the additional protection underneath. At this point, you can unscrew the mounting pins of the motor assembly and also remove the plastic cover of the engine management control unit where the wiring connector for the unit is located. Once the connectors are disconnected, complete the disassembly.
