Replacing Rear Brake Rotors and Pads

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013

Lift the vehicle on a lift and remove the rear wheel. Remove the retaining spring for the brake pads and the caps from the caliper mounting pins to take off the caliper and extract the old pads. Then, remove the caliper bracket and the retaining bolt for the rotor to take it out of its seat. Clean the rotor seat on the hub with a metal brush and apply grease. Install the new rotor, securing it with the appropriate bolt and cleaning off any protective oil. Reinstall the caliper bracket, compress the caliper piston with a caliper tool, insert the new pads, install the caliper, and then the retaining spring for the pads.
