If the airbag warning light remains illuminated on the instrument cluster, the most likely cause is a poor connection in one of the connectors: to avoid guesswork, it is advisable to use a diagnostic tool to check which error codes the relevant control unit has stored; performing the diagnosis in this case, the error codes specifically refer to the detonator of the driver's seatbelt pretensioner; you should then locate the relevant connector situated just under the seat, which is easy to recognise as it is yellow; disconnect and clean the connectors with contact spray and check that the stored faults have been cleared.
