Car Starting Problem

If the engine does not turn over, or you only hear a click when you turn the ignition key and the dashboard lights dim, it is likely that the starter motor is stuck on the flywheel. In this case, engage a gear and push the car back and forth, or use a wrench to turn the starter shaft. It could also be a battery issue, which would need to be charged or even replaced. If the starter turns the engine normally, but it does not start, it is likely that the spark from the spark plugs is weak. In this case, the contacts of the ignition switch need to be replaced or adjusted.
