Replacing the spark plugs and associated leads on a Mercedes 190 is a fairly complex task but can be done independently. Start by opening the engine bay and temporarily disconnecting the battery, then remove the intake hose. Remove the ignition coil and install a new one. Now focus on removing the spark plugs from their seats and immediately install new ones. Finish the job by running the engine for a few minutes.
