How to Remove the Airbag from the Mercedes Benz C-Class

Removing the airbag from the Mercedes Benz C-Class is a straightforward operation. To remove the airbag and then the steering wheel, first insert a 30mm Torx wrench into the side hole. Next, disconnect the center part of the steering wheel that includes the airbag and the horn. To completely remove it, disconnect the connectors. Once these elements are removed, you can take out the body and then move on to the steering wheel. Use a Torx wrench to remove the screws and detach the steering wheel from its mount. In these situations, it is always helpful to disconnect the car battery to prevent the airbag system from deploying during disassembly.
