How to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Mini Cooper S.

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Engine oil

Below we will discover how to perform the regular maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, on the Mini Cooper S. First, we lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain plug located on the oil pan, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. From the engine compartment, we will remove the oil filter cartridge by unscrewing the screw of the coolant reservoir to gain access, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the filler cap and top up with new oil (following the specifications in the owner's manual).

How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Kia Cee'd

First, release the bonnet using the appropriate lever to lift it and secure it with the prop rod. Then, remove the upper rear cover of the engine, where the tops of the spark plugs are located. Once the cover is removed, disconnect the connectors from the coils that feed the spark plugs at the bottom of the cylinder where the coils are housed. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the spark plugs and pull them out. If your socket is magnetised, it will help; otherwise, you will need to use long-nosed pliers, and you're done!
