- Years 2007-2014 The heater has the function of heating the engine block in order to increase the starting speed of the vehicle, as well as warming up the vehicle faster than it normally would in the cold season: the most common type is electric heating which a sort of plug to be inserted in one of the technical holes of the monobloc and to which the socket with the power cable is subsequently connected. In the case of the vehicle in question, a plug hole suitable for inserting the heater is located immediately above the gearbox where the label with the bar code is located: to facilitate the installation operation, it is advisable to remove the intake duct which from the air filter housing reaches the throttle body. Once the hole in which to insert the heater has been intercepted, sprinkle it abundantly with the special conductive gel and insert it until it fits; then connect the socket and the power cable.
