This guide outlines the procedure needed to remove and replace the fuel filter located inside the fuel pump of the Mitsubishi Outlander 2, as well as the ASX. First, remove the rear seat by taking off the cover of the fuel pump; disconnect the electrical connector and remove the fuel hoses. At this point, unscrew the pump collar to remove it; then proceed to take out the fuel pump, replacing the filter found inside; all that’s left is to reassemble everything!
