How to Remove the Airbag from a Mitsubishi Pajero V60

Model: Mitsubishi Pajero MK 3, V60 - Years 1999-2006

To remove the driver’s side airbag from the steering wheel, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent the warning light from illuminating and to avoid accidental deployment of the device. After following this precaution, separate the plastic covers that conceal the light switch controls by unclipping them, and locate the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel to access the screws securing the airbag. After unscrewing these screws, pull the airbag away enough to disconnect the connectors by first releasing their locks.
