How to open the door if the remote battery is flat? Here’s how to open the door with the remote key on a Nissan Navara: take your remote and press the button to release the metal key. Once the key is out, use it to insert into the space of the handle, lever it until the piece comes off. Insert the key into the lock and open the car door. To close the lock: take the cover and press down on the handle until you hear the click of the lock. Replace the remote key battery as soon as possible.
