How to Reset the Maintenance Light on Nissan Altima

In this video tutorial, you will see how to reset the maintenance light on a Nissan Altima. When the service light (SERVICE ENGINE SOON) comes on, you need to perform maintenance such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get in your vehicle, insert the key, and turn it to the first position to power up the instrument cluster; wait three seconds and press the brake pedal five times, then count to 7 and hold the accelerator pedal until the light starts flashing. Release the pedal and then press and hold the accelerator pedal until the light goes off. Reset complete.
