How to Change the Oil, Oil Filter, and Air Filter in the Opel Meriva

After positioning your Opel Meriva on a ramp or flat surface for stability and safety, open the front bonnet of the engine compartment. Once you locate the oil filter, which is situated behind the cylinder head, almost beneath the windscreen, use the special spanner to remove the old oil filter. Now, go underneath the vehicle and, after placing a container, use the appropriate spanner to unscrew the bolt that seals the engine oil drain hole. Once the old oil has fully drained from the engine, close the drain hole, fit the new filter, and pour the new engine oil into the designated opening. That’s it!
