How do you replace the coolant in an Opel Astra? Let's see how to replace the fluid in the Astra vehicle. Lift the front bonnet and secure it, then lift the vehicle with a jack. Disconnect the radiator hose at the bottom using a socket, allowing the rusty fluid to drain into a container. Clean the cooling system using a special flushing fluid: perform this procedure until the pipes and radiator are completely clean. Reconnect the hoses previously removed, and screw in the tightening bolts of the radiator's metal clips in the engine bay.
