Vauxhall Corsa - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa C - Years 2000-2006
Part: Accessory Kit
Operation: Engine ignition accessory button assembly

As a first step, it is suggested to disconnect the battery to avoid any damage to the electrical system. First of all it is necessary to disassemble the plastic light switch covers: the upper one is simply stuck (so just pull it to release it); the lower one, on the other hand, is fixed with three 20-mm torx screws (2 upper - one on the left and the other on the right - and one attached below, inside the special passage hole on the casing itself). Before unscrewing the fixing screws of the lower casing, however, it is necessary to remove the plastic handle of the operating lever of the steering wheel position adjustment system: the handle is fixed with a 3mm hexagonal screw. Once the covers have been removed, it is possible to locate the contact socket of the starting system, immediately behind the key block. Then release the socket by simultaneously pressing on the two fixing tabs. On the socket there are 4 wires of different colors and in order from left to right they are: black (negative), red (key positive), red (battery positive), red / black (starter motor). In order to install the accessory start button, you must first intercept the red / black cable of the starter motor and connect to the latter (clearly insulating the connection correctly with tape) a cable of suitable section and length, which must then be brought to the point where you intend to install the accessory button. It is suggested to position the button in place of the cigarette lighter, to simplify both the passage of the cable and the electrical connections (a positive must be connected to the button together with the motor cable). In fact, two cables are connected to the cigarette lighter: one black (positive) and one brown (negative). The connection diagram of the accessory start button is therefore the following: on the first terminal board (the green one), connect the red / black of the starter motor and the black (positive) of the cigarette lighter; connect a positive and a negative to the second terminal board (the yellow one for powering the button lighting bulb). After completing the electrical connections, refit the light switch covers, the handle of the adjustment lever and reconnect the battery.

How to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro?

In this tutorial we can see how to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro. Before carrying out this simple and quick operation, make sure that you have completed any required maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel. At this point, always keeping the accelerator pressed, press the brake pedal 5 consecutive times and, with the pedals in position, turn off the ignition. We check that the procedure has been successful by starting the vehicle.
