How to Change Oil and Filter on a Peugeot 208

Changing the engine oil and its filter is one of the first maintenance tasks you learn to do yourself, but it is recommended to dispose of the waste properly at specialised collection centres. To facilitate access to the oil sump, it is advisable to position the car on suitable ramps to comfortably unscrew the drain plug underneath the sump. While the oil drains, access the engine bay and proceed to replace the filter: it is located at the front of the engine, and to reach it, you must disconnect and remove the intake ducts. Along with the filter cartridge, the corresponding seals should also be replaced before adding new oil up to the maximum level.
