How to replace the diesel filter on Peugeot 208? Follow these steps: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket, unscrew the securing bolts (use a screwdriver to release) on the container (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the diesel filter is located. Extract the diesel filter holder, remove the worn filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter container (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet last.
