How do you replace the battery in your car? This guide explains how to replace the battery on a Peugeot 308. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever with your fingers. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery at the top; remove the securing nuts from the battery terminals using a spanner or socket wrench, then remove the battery from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the engine bonnet after maintenance.
