How to change the engine oil and filter of a Peugeot 208 1.6 Blue diesel

Let's see how to change the filter and engine oil on a Peugeot 208 MK1 1.6 Blue HDI. We open the oil filler cap, add pre-change detergent to warm engine and let it idle for 10/15 minutes. We lift the front of the car, remove the plastic protection and place a container for collecting the used oil. We unscrew the oil drain plug and let it drain. In the meantime, we deal with the filter; we disconnect the air intake duct (1/4 turn counterclockwise), unscrew the filter flange, remove the old gasket, install the new gasket by lubricating it with clean oil, mount the new filter and tighten the flange to 25 Nm. We dispose of the old filter together with the used oil (we will dispose of them correctly at an authorized center). We put new drain plug and gasket on the oil pan, lower the car, add 90% of the new oil through the filler neck, start the engine for a few seconds, check the level with the dipstick and add until reaching the maximum level.
