Replacing the Battery in a Peugeot 208

First, remove the engine control unit cover and move it out of the way to make your work easier. Unscrew and disconnect the battery cables, starting with the negative terminal. Free the battery from the mounting bracket and remove it; if the cable terminals show signs of corrosion, clean them thoroughly with a file or wire brush. Install the new battery and secure it to the base. Reposition the engine control unit in its housing, reconnect the terminals after applying a layer of petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion, and secure everything as shown in the video.
