Let's see how to fix error P1505 on a 2018 Peugeot Boxer: the symptom is that the engine does not start and does not turn over; often, the hazard lights remain on. The ECU gives the error P1505, which is a generic error with the immobiliser or security system.

The cause is not a mechanical fault but the accidental activation of an emergency button hidden under the driver's side dashboard.

You need to look down towards the pedals where you will find a small button (black or red) often unmarked. Simply press that button, and the emergency mode will deactivate, restoring normal operation of the starting system.

At that point, you just need to clear the error code P1505 with a diagnostic tool. That button is a security anti-theft device that may have been accidentally pressed during cleaning, while organising items under the seat, or for any other reason.
