How to Remove the Alternator from a Peugeot 106

Learn how to remove the alternator from a Peugeot 106. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it in place. Locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Unscrew the securing bolts (using a socket spanner), being careful not to damage the wiring harness membranes, then unscrew all the securing bolts of the alternator. Once disassembled, extract it from the engine bay. Now take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.
