In this brief guide, you will learn how to change the transmission oil of the second series Peugeot 208 with a 1.6 HDI engine. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the left front wheel; then remove the plastic cover on the gearbox, along with the entire engine protection, by unscrewing the fastening screws. At this point, unscrew the oil drain plugs, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then open the filler hole and use a pump to measure the new gearbox oil, filling it to the correct level.
