Cylinder Head Gasket Repair

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012
Part: Cylinder head

The cylinder head gasket ensures that the coolant, oil, and combustion gases do not come into contact with each other, preventing leakage.
Overheating is the main cause of cylinder head gasket damage. The first step is to drain the engine oil, which will then be replaced with new oil and coolant. Next, remove the alternator belt and accessory belt along with the associated cables and spark plugs. Before removing the belt, ensure the timing marks align perfectly. Once this is done, you can separate the cylinder head from the cylinders. After completing these steps, you can proceed to reassemble everything.
