Instructions for Removing the Fuel Pump

Model: Peugeot 106 MK 1 - Years 1991-2004

To access the fuel pump, it is necessary to remove the rear seat cushions: the pump is located inside the tank and is protected by a rubber cap. Remove the rubber cap to reveal the fuel connector and the two hoses, one for supply and the other for return. Disconnect the connector, unclip the hose clamps, and pull the hoses off by pulling them backwards (some fuel may spill out); at this point, unscrew the plastic ring that secures the pump to the tank and pull it upwards to remove it from its housing.
