Replacing the Stabiliser Link

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005

To replace the link connecting the stabiliser bar to the rear suspension arm, lift the vehicle and position it on a jack stand, remove the rear wheel, and then the fastening nuts of the link itself: clean the nuts of any oxidation residue with a wire brush and spray some penetrating oil. To unscrew the nuts, block the rotation of the link's pin by inserting the appropriate Torx or hex key into the pin itself; additionally, to gain easier access to the lower nut, it is advisable to remove the brake caliper. Once the old link is removed, install the new one by reversing the process and reattach the brake caliper.
