How to Replace the Auxiliary Belt on a Peugeot 107

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Peugeot 107: the first step is to remove the wheel cover and loosen the wheel bolts; next, lift the car using a jack and place safety stands; fully unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel from its hub. Unscrew the bolts securing the undertray and wheel arch plastics to access the auxiliary belt. Once these plastic parts are removed, you can see the auxiliary belt. Now, also remove the part that secures the front wing. Once the wing is removed, you have access to the belt, so loosen the bolt where the alternator pivots using a 14 mm socket to slacken the belt (the alternator acts as the tensioner for the belt). Then, remove the belt, starting from the water pump as it has no groove, allowing for easier removal. Now install the new belt starting from the alternator at the top, then the crankshaft pulley; try to position it around the water pump and then turn the engine slightly. Once the belt is in position, proceed to tighten the bolts until the belt is tensioned.
