Peugeot 107 - Video tutorial
Model: Peugeot 107
MK 1
- Years 2005-2014 In this video tutorial we can see how to replace the timing belt in a Peugeot 107: the first thing to do is to remove the wheel cover and loosen the wheel bolts; next step we have to lift the car using a jack and put some safety stands; completely unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel from its seat. Undo the bolts that fix the plastic parts of the underbody and the wheel arch to gain access to the timing belt. Once these plastic parts have been disassembled, we can see the timing belt. Now we also have to disassemble the part that fixes the front fender. Once the mudguard has been removed, we have access to the belt, so we have to loosen the bolt where the alternator pivots with a 14 mm socket wrench, in order to loosen the belt (basically the alternator acts as a tensioner for the belt) . Then we can remove the belt, starting from the water pump because not having the groove allows for easier disassembly. We now install the new belt starting from the alternator which remains on top, then there is the crankshaft pulley; trying to place them around the water pump and then revving the engine a bit. Once the belt is in place proceed to tighten the screws until the belt is under tension.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal. by ScegliAuto More videos
