Removing the Rocker Cover on the Peugeot 208 1.6 BlueHDi

Model: Peugeot 208 A9, MK 1 - Years 2012-2019

In this guide, learn how to perform a full service on the Peugeot 208; however, in addition to changing the engine oil, you will also replace the rocker cover gasket. To replace the gasket, open the bonnet and disconnect the turbocharger hose; then unscrew the intake duct from the air filter box, removing it as well, as illustrated in the video. Next, unscrew the bolts from the cylinder head cover, disconnecting the various electrical connectors; remove and replace the gasket with a new one, ensuring that the base of the cover and the cylinder head are perfectly clean.
