How to Replace the Battery in a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI

This video shows the steps for replacing the battery in a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI. First, release the bonnet from inside the car, then lift it and secure it with the prop rod. Next, locate the battery in the engine bay. As seen in the images, the first step is to remove the plastic covers, then dismantle the air filter housing and take it out. At this point, you can remove the plastic cover of the battery and proceed with its removal. Using a socket spanner, remove the securing screws at the base of the battery's metal bracket, then disconnect the terminals. Once free from the connections, use the handles provided to extract the old battery and replace it.
