How to perform the service reset on a Peugeot 308

This tutorial shows the steps necessary to reset the service light, which indicates the remaining life of the engine oil, on a first-generation Peugeot 308, produced from 2007 to 2014. The operation is straightforward and can be done independently after each service of the vehicle, but let’s go through the procedure. First, press and hold the button on the right of the speedometer as shown in the video, then turn the key to the first position to switch on the instrument cluster. You will see a countdown appear on the display, so continue to hold the button until the time expires to complete the reset. Finally, turn off and restart the vehicle to verify the reset was successful.
