How to Replace the Battery in a Peugeot 309

Let's see how to replace the battery in a Peugeot 308. Open the bonnet of the engine compartment and start by removing the air filter box. You can also remove the protective bracket for the screws securing the plate in front of the battery. Unscrew the two screws using a socket spanner, disconnect the terminals from both battery poles, and rotate the plate connected to the positive pole to the side. Now remove the two screws of the bracket that holds the battery in place so you can slide it out. Insert the new battery and reassemble everything by reversing the previous steps.
