Peugeot 208 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 208 UP, UB, MK 2, UJ, UW - Years 2019-2024
Part: Headlight
Operation: How are the front and rear lights positioned on the Peugeot 208?

In this video we can see how the front and rear lights are positioned on the Peugeot 208 mk2, which has rather unique headlights: the parking lights are the two "dandelion" lights, while the low beams are dual, both the inner and outer ones, while the high beams are located between the low beams. The turn signals are horizontally positioned below the aforementioned light cluster. As for the rear lights, the parking lights are divided into three sections, which have reflectors at the bottom that reflect the lights of those following us; when the brake is pressed, the same three sections illuminate with a brighter light, accompanied by the third central light, located above the rear window. The reverse light (white color) is located on the left; the rear fog light is in the central position. The direction indicators are located below the three sections, in the outer position.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
