How to Remove the Window Regulator from a Peugeot 508 Door

To remove the window regulator mechanism from the front door of this car model, you must first remove the door panel. Start by unclipping the handle cover in the centre of the panel to access the screws underneath, which need to be unscrewed. Then, disconnect the window switch, unscrew the other screws along the lower edge, and lever along the edges to unclip the pressure clips and complete the removal of the panel by disconnecting the connectors. Next, peel back the soundproofing cover carefully to avoid tearing it, remove the window motor, loosen the glass retaining clips, and unscrew the fixing nuts of the mechanism to extract it from its housing.
