How to Replace the Spiral Contact in a Renault Clio

In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the spiral contact in a Renault Clio, a very simple and quick operation, especially if the airbag light is on. First, ensure the key is not inserted, then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Rotate the steering wheel 180 degrees and locate the hole at the back. Next, insert a long screwdriver into this hole, release the airbag retaining clip, and separate it from the steering wheel. Finally, undo the large central bolt, detach the steering wheel from the steering column, and after unclip the cover, remove the spiral contact. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
