How to Change the Engine Oil

The first step to change your engine oil is to remove the cover above the engine. You can remove this component by locating and removing the two caps that provide access to the bolts holding the cover: unscrew them and the cover will come off. At the bottom of the engine block, you will find the oil level check cap, which can be checked by inserting a dipstick and seeing how far it has become dirty. Next to this, there will be another cap: unscrewing it will release the oil filter, a crucial component for the proper functioning of the engine. At the bottom of the opening created resides the oil reservoir. Use a suction pump, which works like a syringe, to drain it. Now you are ready for the oil change: after (if necessary) reinserting a new oil filter, fill the canister that has its opening on the top of the engine block. Use a funnel and be careful not to spill on other components. You're done.
