To replace the timing belt on this car model, follow the summary instructions below as this is a complex task that should be carried out by qualified personnel. First, remove the engine cover and detach the right front wheel along with the inner wing protection cover. Then, loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt and remove it. Unscrew the bolts securing the engine mount and remove the crankshaft pulley. Next, take off the lower timing belt cover as well as the central one. Then, remove the fuel pump and the coolant reservoir. After that, also remove the upper timing belt protection cover. Position locking tools to secure the crankshaft and camshafts to avoid losing the engine timing. At this point, you can loosen the tensioner and remove the timing belt.
