Replacement of the cabin air filter of the Skoda Octavia version 1U

To prevent dirt and dust from entering the ventilation system of the Skoda Octavia 1U version, a filter has been installed on the external air intake. After fifteen thousand kilometers, it is advisable to replace it to ensure efficiency. We open the hood of the engine compartment, disconnect the portion of the drip rail seal on the passenger side, remove the grille under the windshield, remove the old filter, and remove the plastic frame. We install the new filter element in the frame, clean the housing with a vacuum cleaner, put the filter back in place, reassemble the grille and the seal.
