Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Airbag

In today's video tutorial we will see how to remove the steering wheel airbag, along with the horn assembly, and the steering wheel on the Smart Fortwo 450 (first generation). First of all we get on board the car and first of all we go to disconnect our battery in advance, which we find at the bottom on the passenger side; remove the floor to access it. At this point we unscrew the screw of the airbag that we find at the bottom of the steering wheel, in order to remove it, then disconnecting the electrical connector; we just have to remove the steering wheel and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
