How to replace and modify the reverse light bulbs on the Subaru Forester

Model: Subaru Forester SH, MK 3 - Years 2008-2011

Now let's change the reverse light bulbs to LED bulbs in a Subaru Forester. Start by opening the boot; on the inner side of the light, you will find two screws that you will need to unscrew with a cross screwdriver. At this point, gently pry out the rear light with your hands. Once the light is removed, locate the reverse bulb, rotate the bulb holder slightly counterclockwise, and gently pull the bulb out of the holder. Now take the new LED bulb, remove it from the packaging, insert it into the holder, and then place it back into its socket by rotating it slightly clockwise. Finally, remount the light in its housing, screw the two screws back into the inner side of the light with the cross screwdriver, close the boot, and test the new LED bulbs.
